A man pulls a shark by the tail!

Not everyone spends their Friday typing on a keyboard…

Some have fun playing with sharks on the edge of a beach, like this named Australian who pulled a shark by its tail!

Swimmers gathered at White Hills Beach in Bouvard, south of Perth, were then further “shocked” to see the man grab the shark by the tail and pull it back into the water!

The shark in question was about two meters long. It obviously became agitated, and as the water got deeper, the man crouched down, holding the shark’s dorsal fin, to avoid being hit.

Note that in Western Australia, where this scene took place, no less than 25 sharks were spotted, including a huge white shark of five meters!

A UFO observed in Iraq!

A so-called official UFO was filmed in a conflict zone, and the government said a ton of questions about the unidentified object were still unanswered. But the sudden appearance of this UFO remains a big step “towards transparency and discovery of UFOs.

UFOs remain a taboo and divisive subject, as many people do not want to know about them, while others firmly believe in their existence.

Will these freshly (re)deposited images change the situation?

Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, two experts, presented this mind-boggling image of theMosul Orb during their recent podcast called “Weaponized”, and this one would come from a video shot in 2016 in northern Iraq.

The capture would have been taken while a spy plane was flying next to the UFO…

The video was actually shown to US government agencies and the footage also appeared in a “classifiedbriefing ” video.

It is disturbing, certainly, and everything indicates that it is really a UFO since the duo has dissected the whole thing in depth, in addition to collecting a ton of evidence about this object.

By the way, according to physicist Avi Loeb, the threat of UFOs is increasing more and more and the government often doesn’t know anything about the objects they observe.

Couche-Tard convenience stores soon to be cashier-less?

The Couche-Tard convenience store chain is currently conducting tests in one of its Montreal stores.

Don’t look for a cashier, there isn’t one.

A bit like Amazon a few years ago, the multinational Couche-Tard is launching the robotization of its operations. In this convenience store, there is no cashier and the customer pays with his or her smartphone.

This experimental convenience store is located onMcGill University ‘s downtown campus. It is in partnership with the Retail Innovation Lab of the academic institution that the project is conducted. This unique partnership allows for cutting-edge research and testing of innovations, including frictionless technologies, to transform the customer experience like never before.

Located on the first floor of the Bronfman Pavilion, the Couche-Tard convenience store offers for the first time a contactless payment system that uses cameras throughout the store to track your purchases, without any human interaction.

While the location is becoming the ultimate in technology, it also allows researchers at the Bensadoun School of Retail Management to test new retail strategies in a real-world setting.

A giant squid filmed in Japan!

A giant squid of 2.5 meters long that was swimming off the west coast of the Japanese archipelago was caught on camera by two Japanese divers, completely dazzled by this scene.

Yosuke Tanaka and his wife Miki went to meet the friendly squid, when a fishing tackle salesman contacted them after spotting this huge piece near the surface.

Tanaka and Miki said the squid’s movements were not very agile, its tentacles and fins moved very slowly. It looked weak, and pieces of skin were likely coming off its body.

Its size and eyes, however, were striking, even frightening, according to Tanaka, who would be curious to see the squid’s strength against a whale.

The couple is very lucky to have been able to observe such a creature, since these rarely wander in the sea, they rather hang out in nearby waters.

In short, we are talking about a very rare creature about which we don’t know many things.

Man rescued from shark-filled waters!

Dylan Gartenmayer, a 22-year-old diver and spearfisherman, was on a boat with two friends when he decided to make one last dive near West Sambo Reef.

Unfortunately, he was swept away by the Gulf Stream, finding himself five miles from the Florida Keys, only to be unexpectedly rescued by his grandfather, NBC reports.

As he watched the sun set, he suddenly heard an engine approaching to pull him out of the shark-infested waters.

https://twitter.com/RyanNelsonTV/status/1617385941852901376

The young man is a deep snorkeling fanatic, and loves to dive more than “30 meters in one breath”, but this time he was swept much further away by the current.

The two friends became concerned because Gartenmayer did not come to the surface, so they immediately thought that the diver had run out of oxygen.

In short, his two friends immediately notified the U.S. Coast Guard as well as his family in order to start the search quickly, since the sun was giving way to darkness.

Remember that it was Grandpa’s boat (with his family) that spotted Dylan and was able to rescue him and bring him back on board… away from the hungry sharks.

Alec Baldwin charged with involuntary manslaughter!

More than a year after the tragic accident that claimed the life of DP Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust on October 21, 2021, the prosecutor in charge of the case in the state of New Mexico has made his decision and accuses the actor Alec Baldwin of involuntary manslaughter.

https://twitter.com/NBCNews/status/1616105592992501762

The incident occurred while the actor was rehearsing a scene with a gun during the filming of Rust on the site of Bonanza Creek Ranch located in New Mexico.

Since the incident, Baldwin claimed that he was not responsible for the director’s death. Instead, he accused Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the person in charge of the weapons and ammunition on the set at the time, of being solely responsible for the tragedy.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is also accused of manslaughter in the same case. David Halls, Rust’s assistant director, has decided to plead guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon.

Recall that in October, Halyna Hutchins’ husband reached a settlement in his wrongful death lawsuit against Baldwin and the Rust producers. At the same time, Baldwin announced the resumption of filming of Rust for January 2023.

For the time being, Alec Baldwin remains free pending trial.

Megalodon: A little girl discovers a 3.5 million year old shark tooth

A nine-year-old girl discovered a “megalodon” shark tooth fossil in Maryland that is at least 3.5 million years old, which remains a fabulous find.

The girl’s mother named Molly Sampson said the girl was looking for a missing fossil on a local beach in Calvert Beach waters, and the discovery was made on Christmas morning.

Future paleontologist, Molly, was out searching for fossils on Christmas morning when, what to her wondering eyes…

Posted by Calvert Marine Museum on Friday, January 6, 2023

The tooth is palm-sized and dark in color, and it belonged to a shark Otodus magalodon.

Here is Molly’s mother Alicia’s account of the mind-blowing find:

“She told me she was wading through knee-deep water when she saw it and dove in to retrieve it. She said her arms were all wet, but it was totally worth it.”

Molly, who nicknames her fossil “Meg,” took it to the Calvert Marine Museum to confirm that the anthology piece was really what she and her family believed it to be.

The future paleontologist, because that’s what Molly wants to do for a living, was thrilled to share the discovery with the museum, which shared the session on its Facebook page.

Isn’t this a once-in-a-lifetime discovery for a nine-year-old?
