Madonna breaks her silence following hospitalization and confirms bad news

Madonna had to be taken to hospital when she was found unconscious in her home by one of her employees.

The singer has just given an update on her socials, mentioning that she would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers and kind words since the traumatic situation she recently experienced.

Posted by Madonna on Monday, July 10, 2023

Indeed, after waking up, she immediately thought of her children and also of her tour, which was fast approaching.

She then mentions that she in no way wishes to disappoint her fans or her tour team, but that she absolutely must take care of herself and her health.

This is why it was announced that her North American tour would be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.

It seems now that Madonna will instead kick off this tour in Europe, in October.

The Queen of Pop finished by saying that she was very grateful for everyone’s love and support.

The new American tour dates will be announced shortly…

Madonna had to be rushed to hospital before being intubated and admitted to intensive care, a fact confirmed by her team.

Reports that Madonna had been revived by an injection of Narcan led many to believe that she had suffered an opioid overdose.

Several major HBO series land on Netflix

As part of an impressive deal between HBO and Netflix, several of the on-demand giant’s series will soon debut on Netflix.

And many will be pleased to learn that this has already begun with the series Insecure, which is already available on the streaming platform.

Ballers, Six Feet Under, The Pacific, Band of Brothers and True Blood (exclusive to the U.S.) will also soon be added to Netflix, and it will certainly be to the delight of their subscribers.

HBO was recently acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery and had also signed agreements with several other streaming platforms, including Roku and Tubi for the highly popular series Westworld and The Time Traveler’s Wife, and of course Amazon Prime, whose subscribers have access to True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and The Sopranos.

This is definitely good news for those who don’t have an HBO subscription and like to find as many products as possible in one place.

Marc-André Grondin speaks about the death of Michel Côté and Jean-Marc Vallée

Marc-André Grondin gave a (too) rare interview to  Jean-Philippe Wauthier.

The actor spoke of the recent passing of two Quebec cinema giants who also left their mark on his career, notably with C.R.A.Z.Y.: Jean-Marc Vallée and Michel Côté.

“I think we’re losing a lot of film people these days, it’s tough,” says Wauthier.

“Yes,” replies the actor.

“Michel Côté, who passed not long ago (…) you’re inevitably linked with Michel for the rest of your life. I know you paid tribute to him (…) A year before, it was Jean-Marc. It’s big, isn’t it? They’re big losses,” asks Jean-Philippe.

“Big losses. Jean-Marc, of course, is someone who’s been very close to me since I was 8-9 years old. Michel and I didn’t see each other as much, but we loved each other very much. When you go through something like the shooting of C.R.A.Z.Y., and everything afterwards, it unites us. When we saw each other, it was as if we’d always been together” explains Marc-André Grondin.

The actor also reveals that several people thought of him when Michel Côté’s death was announced.

“I think in their minds, I’m like his son in the movies,” he says.

The actor also reveals that Michel was a charismatic man who liked everyone to have fun.

“He took his work seriously, but he didn’t take himself too seriously!” he concludes.
