Here are the best Canadian artists of all-time according to Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone published an article listing the 50 best Canadian artists of all time.

The list includes Alessia Cara in 37th place, Nelly Furtado in 35th place, Bryan Adams in 30th place, Shawn Mendes in 27th place, Avril Lavigne in 22nd place, Justin Bieber in 17th place, Carly Rae Jepsen in 14th place, Arcade Fire in 12th place and finally… Céline Dion, in 10th place, dethroned by Alanis Morissette, The Weeknd, Shania Twain, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.

It seems that the magazine has made up for the controversy generated by the fact that Rolling Stone journalists recently omitted to include Céline Dion in their list of the best singers of all time!

So… there was cocaine in the White House!

A white powder was found at the White House last Sunday evening, causing panic among staff and Secret Service and even temporarily forcing the evacuation of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Washington Fire Department quickly responded to the scene, confirming that the white powder was not a dangerous substance.

But according to sources at CNN, it seems that the mysterious bag found in the common area of the West Wing of the White House was tested… and found to be cocaine!

An investigation is now underway, according to Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

The substance was discovered while President Joe Biden was spending the weekend at Camp David.

Kevin Costner is fed up and gives his wife an ultimatum!

In the tumultuous divorce proceedings between Kevin Costner and his wife of 20 years, the actor decided he’d had enough and issued her with an ultimatum: She must leave the house… now!

The latter has refused to leave the property since the divorce was announced.

Costner reportedly served his soon-to-be ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, with legal papers stating that she had less than two weeks to leave their Santa Barbara home!

Christine will therefore have to comply with the pre-nuptial documents the couple signed when they married in 2004, and vacate the luxurious, nearly $150 million residence by July 13 at the latest.

The war between the two former lovers has come to a head in recent weeks, with Kevin Costner accusing his ex-wife of staying in the house solely as a bargaining tool to extract as much money as possible from his pockets!

Baumgartner was demanding $248,000 a month in financial support for the couple’s three children, in addition to a large sum earmarked for her in the original marriage contract.

The actor also accuses his ex of wanting to use this money for plastic surgery and unreasonable expenses that have nothing to do with their children’s lifestyle.

This story is far from over!

The hottest day in history was this week

According to information gathered by the U.S. National Center for Environmental Predictions, Monday July 3 was recorded as the hottest day on the planet since information has been amassed on the subject.

On Monday, a global temperature of 17.01 degrees celcius was recorded, beating the last record of 16.92 degrees celcius dating back to mid-August 2016.

However, on Tuesday, the record was broken again!

This time with a global temperature of 17.18 degrees celcius, according to CNN!

Experts believe that this record could be broken several more times in the coming years, which is not encouraging for the future.

Many believe that global warming and the El Niño phenomenon are to blame.

The consequences could be disastrous for the planet. Recent intense heat waves have also contributed to or caused the deaths of hundreds of people, notably in Mexico and India.
