Kim Kardashian will be at the Met Gala after all!

It seems that one of the stars of the Kardashian clan is finally present at the Met Gala despite the initial reluctance of the organizer of the event, Anna Wintour, reports Page Six.

The latter had indeed proclaimed wanting an edition 2023 without Kardashian, while the family had all participated in the previous year’s gala, which had undoubtedly retained all the attention of the media present.

But Kim might have received an invitation since she has been a regular at this gala for a long time.

And the star never goes unnoticed with her looks!

The star had notably made a lot of noise with a dress of the American icon Marilyn Monroe, in addition to being at the side of her boyfriend of the time… Pete Davidson!

While in 2021, she caused consternation dressed in black from head to toe, hands and face too, in a strange outfit signed Balenciaga.

No release for Elizabeth Holmes!

The deposed founder of pharmaceutical company Theranos has been denied bail pending her appeal of the conviction.

Sentenced to 11 years in prison for fraud and conspiracy to defraud, her imprisonment will then begin as scheduled at the end of April.

The story and arrest of Elizabeth Holmes has captivated the world and has since been the subject of several documentaries and even a miniseries, starring Amanda Seyfried, airing on Hulu in 2022.

Holmes, along with her lover and accomplice Sunny Balwani, swindled investors out of millions of dollars by claiming that her invention was revolutionary in screening for several diseases with a single blood test in her machine… when she knew full well that the machine in question didn’t work at all.

Although her lawyer stated that she posed no danger to the public, the judge explained that the basis on which Holmes is seeking an appeal is so weak that it is unlikely to change anything for her.

He then imposed that her incarceration proceed as scheduled on April 27.

Stay tuned!

NFL: A new helmet to fight concussions

The NFL and the players’ union have announced the design of a new helmet specifically for quarterbacks to reduce the severity of impacts that can cause concussions.

The VICIS ZERO2 MATRIX QB helmet, which will be available for next season (though not mandatory), has passed tests that showed it to be 7% better than the most popular helmet worn by quarterbacks last season, reports CNN.

This announcement is obviously a direct response to the serious and troubling injuries suffered last season by Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, among others.

Good progress, or more smoke and mirrors from the NFL, which has struggled to acknowledge the concussion problem in its league for years?

Time will tell.

Jamie Foxx urgently hospitalized

It’s not looking good for Jamie Foxx.

TMZ reports that Jamie Foxx had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering what is described as a “medical emergency,” but details are scarce.

Clearly, Foxx’s condition was serious enough to worry everyone, including medical staff, who invited the star’s loved ones to the hospital.

A source explains that the actor is “communicating now”, which is good news, but also implies that he was not able to do so previously.

His daughter, Corinne, assures that Jamie is doing better and will be fine, and thanks the medical staff for what she describes as “excellent care”.
