CNN: Don Lemon accused of being misogynistic and cultivating a toxic work environment

Don Lemon, one of CNN’s star hosts, has been in hot water for weeks when he suggested that Republican presidential candidate Nikky Haley is no longer in her prime… at 51!

But according to several Variety sources, Lemon has been making misogynistic comments for a long time, even cultivating a toxic climate at work… since 2008!

This is what emerges from a shocking article by Variety. Don Lemon was even taken off the air during a commercial break in 2008 because he had made derogatory remarks towards his co-host at the time, Kyra Phillips.

The situation reportedly escalated when she was deployed by CNN to Iraq, when Don Lemon was reportedly angry that the assignment was taken away from him.

Phillips reportedly received some anonymous threats via text message.

According to a Variety source, an internal investigation linked the texts directly to Lemon!

Variety has reportedly spoken with a large number of colleagues (current and former) who describe Don Lemon as someone who has bent the rules on numerous occasions and displayed open hostility toward many female colleagues.

Wow…

Is it time to cancel Don Lemon?

“Clowncore”: A look at one of the biggest trends right now

The greatest fashion designers have obviously been inspired by… clowns (!) for their recent (and strange) collections.

And this trend has even made its way to some stars, including Harry Styles, who dared to wear this look in several of his stage costumes during his most recent tour and also on the red carpet of the 65th Grammy Awards.

From the designers: Thom Browne, Alberta Ferretti and Armani Privé exaggerated the polka dots, stripes and patterns…

Offensive, Friends? Jennifer Aniston comments!

The popular sitcom Friends has aged badly, according to many, a fact that got to Rachel herself, Jennifer Aniston.

The latter points out in an interview with Agence France-Presse that a whole generation of young people today find the jokes rather offensive, but the star does not believe that these are deliberate mistakes and that we should not take it all too seriously either.

From 1994 to 2004, Friends was the most popular sitcom , and with the advent of streaming platforms, young people’s interest in bingewatching cult series has highlighted a major shift in the way humor is perceived, a fact that Aniston understands well, who has seen Friends return to the spotlight thanks to Netflix, for better or worse.

Aniston indeed conceives that the humor industry has changed in the last few years and that many jokes that were rather hilarious at the time would not be possible today.

However, the star wishes people would take everything a little less seriously.

Do you agree?

Tom Brady and former NFL stars reunite for an epic day!

Tom Brady, his longtime partner Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Blaine Gabbert got together to enjoy an epic beach day with friends and family.

They hit the beach to play soccer, jet ski and perform some surfboard maneuvers on a private beach.

Of course, Brady shared several photos from the epic day in the sun, and the former star QB wrote “Beach day with the team” in the comments section.

Among the photos Brady posted are the “Gronk” in sunglasses, enjoying the beach and the beautiful weather, and Mr. Edelman, flashing a big smile.

Brady’s daughter, Vivian Lake, 10, and his sons Benjamin Rein, 13, and John “Jack” Edward Thomas, 15, were also present at this “team” activity.

Remember that Brady and the Gronk have become great friends because of, among other things, the four Super Bowls they have won together.

A dog gives birth to 21 puppies in 27 hours

An adorable two-year-old Great Dane gave birth to 21 puppies in 27 hours, becoming a supermom who made quite an epic achievement.

This extraordinary news was delivered by WVVA, a CNN affiliated television station.

Namine the dog, owned by Pocahontas, Virginia resident Tanya Dubbs, lost two of the 21 puppies she gave birth to.

The owner was surprised by the number of dogs, she expected Namine to give birth to between 13 and 14 puppies. Note that all the puppies weighed more than a kilo when they came out of mom.

“We got to 16 puppies, then she had another one. I was sitting on the bed and she was on the bed with me and I was talking to a friend and I heard a gush of liquid and I looked and I said we have another puppy,” Ms. Dubbs said on WVVA.

Of course, Dubbs’ goal is to sell the litter of puppies once they are weaned from their mothers. In addition, she will donate the proceeds from the sale of the first puppy to the local animal shelter!

A rare whale found on a Florida beach

People swimming at Florida’s Flagler Beach discovered a 15-foot whale washed ashore last weekend.

Hubbs-Sea World Research Institute evidently responded, and officials indicated that it wasa beaked whale.

After beaching, the whale was still alive, but Dr. Stacy DiRocco, a highly regarded veterinarian, said beaked whales are not good candidates for proper rehabilitation, which led to its euthanasia.

A ton of people gathered on the beach to help the Institute move the mammal, which was placed in a harness to move it to a safe location.

Ultimately, researchers will do a full analysis to understand what happened to cause the beaked whale to simply strand in this manner.
