Tiger Woods is in trouble (again)

Tiger Woods‘ last girlfriend, Erica Herman, with whom he has been for the past six years, has decided to sue the golfer regarding a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement (NDA) that she believes is no longer valid.

This type of agreement is signed by two entities and allows one of them to keep certain information confidential. However, in the case of assault or harassment, the validity of the contract would no longer hold.

At least that’s what the law says.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the lady claims that Woods made her sign an “NDA ” in August 2017 and this said pact would now be wrongly applied on her.

The 47-year-old golfer is reportedly blackmailing his ex-girlfriend to keep quiet about their relationship by defending himself on the clause (the NDA) she signed almost six years ago.

Again, it should be noted that the NDA in question becomes unenforceable, under the federal Speak Out Act, if an argument surfaces that involves assault or harassment of any kind.

In short, Herman is looking for details from the court as she would be eager to share some bad experiences with Tiger Woods

It doesn’t look good for Tiger, who is not responding to reporters at the moment.

14-foot python found on the side of the road

Authorities in New York City (Long Island) were very surprised to discover a gigantic 14-foot reticulated python on the side of the road. It appeared to be simply resting, but in fact, it was deceased.

According to the state Department of Environmental Conversation’s press release issued last week, officers removed the reptile from the road and are reportedly still looking for the reptile’s owner.

Of course, an investigation was immediately launched as possession of reticulated pythons is illegal in New York, unless the “owner” in question holds a dangerous animal permit.

Note that reticulated pythons come from South and Southeast Asia, according to the the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. In Florida, they are known to be an invasive species, and it is believed that those that are found in the wild are from escaped pets.

Be aware that these pythons there can reach a length of six meters, being one of the longest snake species in the world.

NHL: Atlanta before Quebec, really?

Two NHL insiders, Kevin Weekes and John Buccigross, exchanged a few tweets last Wednesday and they quickly caught the attention of fans.

The nature of the tweets: they suggested that Gary Bettman and the NHL would be willing to open their doors to Atlanta and Houston.

No, once again, Quebec City is not part of the speculation!

Obviously, some people have investigated to get the truth and this is the case of the informant Frank Seravalli, who contacted directly Bill Daly, Gary Bettman‘s right hand man.

According to Seravalli’s information gathering, the expansion project is not the NHL’s priority, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t listening to people who are showing interest, such as Atlanta and Houston.

Daly added that none of these cities are ahead of other bids such as Quebec City, Kansas City, Portland and Saskatoon, which are also cities that want to host an NHL franchise.

Nevertheless, according to Weekes, it looks like Atlanta has a head start, even though it lost its Thrashers in 2011, who are now the Winnipeg Jets.

By the way, could the former Winnipeg Jets, the Arizona Coyotes, come to Atlanta?

Eminem: it’s war!

Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon decided to oppose Eminem and want to fo forward with the use of the name of their podcast… Reasonably Shady!

Inside the legal documents obtained by Page Six, Bryant and Dixon, star of Real Housewives of Potomac, want that the request of Slim Shady filed last month be denied!

The two women’s attorney handling the case, Andrea Evans, exclusively told Page Six that her two clients say there is no likelihood of confusion between the Shady brand and their brand, Reasonably Shady.

“We are prepared to defend any allegation against them regarding their intellectual property!” the lawyer said.

It was in February 2022 that the two women filed an official trademark application for the name of their project, since they want to sell derivative products such as eye shadows, water bottles and clothing.

However, last month, Eminem put his foot down by mentioning that his brand would be “damaged” if Bryant and Dixon got the rights to the Reasonably Shady name.

Em believes it could create real confusion among consumers, who know Eminem as Slim Shady and Shadywhich is also an official trademarked image, since the late ’90s.

For the moment, this case is in the hands of the lawyers of the concerned individuals and a decision will be given soon.
