Damar Hamlin offers a touching interview and reflects on his heart attack

Damar Hamlin spoke out about his cardiac arrest, saying he owes his life to his savior, Buffalo Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington, who resuscitated him on January 2 in Cincinnati.

The Bills safety made the remarks in an interview that will air Monday on ABC, and through it, he opens up fully about his near-death experience.

Hamlin, who is a believer, was quick to point out that all his life he felt God was using him to give hope to others.

Damar Hamlin received the Alan Page Community Award from the NFLPA, just over a month after his cardiac arrest.

When he received his award, he made a point of thanking an ICU doctor named Yusef, who also went through something similar.

Damar’s goal now is to support youth through education and sports with GoFundMe donations.

According to PETA, Budweiser mutilates horses!

According to PETA, beer giant Budweiser is allegedly mutilating its Clydesdale horses to keep their tails short during the filming of Super Bowl commercials, reports the New York Post.

PETA ‘s goal is to stop Budweiser ‘s upcoming annual Super Bowl horse”parade.

Budweiser, true to form, has purchased a ton of commercials for this Sunday’s scheduled duel of the titans, the Eagles vs. the Chiefs, and one of the Budweiser shows is called A Clydesdale’s Journey.

But the ugly truth behind that scenario would be that “Budweiser” horses don’t get their tails trimmed, as Bud ‘s representatives indicate. Instead, they would have a practice called “docking” done, which involves cutting a horse’s tailbone.

In reality, the tail bone would be removed with a scalpel, to cut off the blood flow, causing the tail to die.

The safety of the Clydesdales is a top priority for PETA, so at the Super Bowl kickoff, the animal rights group plans to fly a banner over Arizona’s State Farm Stadium in protest.

Fast X: The trailer is a hit!

The trailer for Fast X, the next feature film in the Fast & Furious saga, is downright explosive. In this version, Vin Diesel will be back to play the role of Dominic Toretto, while Jason Momoa will be the new villain.

During the presentation of this trailer at L.A. Live last Thursday, Diesel, 55, showed up with his family: Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Sung Kang.

The trailer lasts four minutes, but these four minutes make us want to teleport to May 19, 2023, the release date of the tenth film of this super franchise. A franchise that has pocketed no less than 5 billion dollars at the box office.

Note that at the ceremony, Diesel proudly wore a T-shirt in memory of his great friend and co-star Paul Walker, who left this earth in 2013.

Syria: A baby is born under the rubble of the earthquake

A baby, a little girl who was named Aya, was born under the rubble of a house destroyed by an earthquake of magnitude 7.8, which occurred in Syria and Turkey earlier this week.

The mother, named Abu Hadiya, and her baby who was clinging to her by the umbilical cord, was found through pieces of concrete and metal destroyed a little more than ten hours after the earthquake.

Unfortunately, the mother was dead when rescuers found the family, the newborn and all the rest of the family. The baby’s father and the other four children in the house were also dead under the debris.

Another hour and she would have been dead, according to the doctors…

The miracle, of course, is that the baby survived, being taken immediately to the hospital for treatment, and where the doctors named her Aya (which means “a sign from God” or ”miracle”).

Since Aya was an orphan, she was adopted by her great-uncle, Salah al Badran, who will take her home with him as soon as she leaves the hospital.

In the video that has been circulating since this tragic event, we can see the rescuers carrying the baby, who is still alive, as we recall.

The Chinese spy balloon seems to be part of a larger surveillance operation

The spy balloon of Chinese origin is still the talk of the town because according to sources of American intelligence, it would be part of a very large Chinese military surveillance operation.

Still according to the information of the American intelligence, this recovered balloon was part of a program of surveillance initiated by the Chinese army, reports CNN.

Several such balloons have been, or are, in the sky to conduct a guided mission through China’s small Hainan province.

The United States does not know the number of balloons belonging to this Chinese province, but everything indicates that at least two dozen of the fleet would have traveled at least the top of five continents.

In fact, according to a report by an official familiar with the intelligence, several of the balloons were in U.S. airspace, but did not touch down on U.S. soil.

It should also be noted that the balloons that were “killed” were not all of the same design as the one that was destroyed off the coast of South Carolina last week. We would speak of multiple variations.

The current U.S. mission, of course, is to try to learn as much as possible about the intelligence that balloons can gather. U.S. intelligence wants to understand the technical capabilities of the balloon…

Meanwhile, China still maintains that it was a weather balloon launched off course, but the country still finds itself in crisis management.

Bolts fan attacks Panthers mascot!

A Tampa Bay Lightning fan didn’t like the 7-1 blowout his team suffered last Monday against the Florida Panthers, so he took matters into his own hands by fighting with the Panthers mascot.

A video of the scene was shared and it quickly went viral. A Lightning fan (unidentified) can be seen attacking Viktor E. Ratt, the second mascot of the Florida organization.

A man wearing a blue jersey grabbed the mascot’s jersey and pulled it over his head, as the big dog had apparently just thrown the mascot’s jersey into the crowd.

Following this, the Lightning fanatic pushed the big plushie into a glass railing, in front of the astonished eyes of some people. The fan in question even attempted a partial chokehold on the mascot, while yelling “Go Bolts!”.

A Panthers’ trainer finally stepped in to stop it…

Was it staged?

Some people wondered, but a Panthers spokesperson said it was not staged!

The Florida Panthers organization has obviously opened an investigation into the incident.

Monstrous amount of cocaine found floating in the sea

New Zealand authorities seized no less than three tons of cocaine floating in the ocean. This discovery was made during one of the largest operations (Operation Hydros) in the country, CNN reports.

81 bundles of cocaine weighing 3.5 short tons were recovered directly from the Pacific Ocean, as police, customs and defense forces worked hand in hand for this Hydros operation.

According to one of the leaders of the police operation, this mountain of cocaine is valued at 318 million dollars (US).

For the moment, very little information has been released about it, but the police filed a press release last Wednesday, and it talked about the haul, while presenting several images.

Most of the packages recovered are marked with a four-leaf clover, but on one of them shows a Batman logo. All of these packages were actually destined for Australia, according to an international syndicate.

We are talking about one of the largest seizures of illegal drugs in this country and this one, the drug, will be destroyed, after the navy brought it back after six days at sea.

No arrests have been made, but an international investigation is underway.

Drake places 7 psychotic bets on the Super Bowl

The rapper Drake, who loves to put a lot of his fortune into sports betting, has just made no less than seven psychotic bets on the Super Bowl.

Drake placed $700,000 on the Kansas City Chiefs as the winner of Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles. If he wins all his bets, he will pocket a cool $4.5 million.

It was Thursday night that the Toronto rapper took to Instagram to show off his bets for this duel, calling them psychotic.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CodU1gLNf_0/?hl=fr

Note that the Philadelphia Eagles are favorites to win this matchup.

That said, Drake said not to analyze the logic behind his picks since there was none.

In all, he placed over $1 million, including $700,000 on a Chiefs win, remember.

Drake also bet $50,000 on Patrick Mahomes and Juju Smith-Schuster scoring the Chiefs’ first touchdown, while betting the same amount on the Chiefs winning both halves.

Add to all these small bets, a small $30,000 on the Chiefs winning each quarter, a $25,000 on Travis Kelce being named the MVP and $60,000 on the MVP winner being a tight end.

It’s worth noting that Drake pocketed no less than $2 million in a $1 million bet on the Chiefs’ win over the Bengals… but he also lost $1 million at the World Cup and $2 million on UFC last November.
