Gino Odjick died of a heart attack last Sunday at the age of 52. Of course, as he was a much loved man, many tributes were raised to mark his passing on earth.
The Vancouver Canucks, with whom Gino played from 1990 to 1998, offered him a colossal tribute, in the image of the man and the player he was. At that time, along with his dear friend Pavel Bure, he was a fan favorite of the Vancouver Canucks.
Before the game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, many of his former teammates from Maniwaki were invited to the Rogers Arena rink. In addition, all Canucks players wore the classic black jersey with the number 29 that Odjick once wore.
Odjick stood tall on the ice, had Bure’s and his teammates’ backs, and was an inspiration to them, just as he was to the First Nations.
Odjick played a total of 605 games in the National Hockey League, amassing 2567 penalty minutes and 137 points with the Canucks, Islanders, Flyers and Montreal Canadiens to conclude his career.
It is under a Twitter publication of the series Mayor of Kingstown that the actor Jeremy Renner announced that he was back home!
While the series’ account confirmed that season 2 was available for viewing on Paramount+, Renner took the opportunity to write a comment that reassured many!

A nine-year-old girl discovered a “megalodon” shark tooth fossil in Maryland that is at least 3.5 million years old, which remains a fabulous find.
The girl’s mother named Molly Sampson said the girl was looking for a missing fossil on a local beach in Calvert Beach waters, and the discovery was made on Christmas morning.

The tooth is palm-sized and dark in color, and it belonged to a shark Otodus magalodon.

“She told me she was wading through knee-deep water when she saw it and dove in to retrieve it. She said her arms were all wet, but it was totally worth it.”
Molly, who nicknames her fossil “Meg,” took it to the Calvert Marine Museum to confirm that the anthology piece was really what she and her family believed it to be.
The future paleontologist, because that’s what Molly wants to do for a living, was thrilled to share the discovery with the museum, which shared the session on its Facebook page.
