Florida woman convicted of stealing Ashley Biden’s diary

Florida native Aimee Harris was convicted of her role in the theft and sale of several personal effects from Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, including a camera and a diary. She was sentenced to one month in federal prison, followed by three months of house arrest.

The conviction came after a jury found her guilty of conspiracy to transport stolen property from one state to another. The woman sold Ashley Biden’s personal writings, found at a friend’s home in Delray Beach, Florida, in 2020. Prosecutors said Joe Biden’s daughter thought her belongings were safe there after staying there temporarily before the theft.

When Harris found Ashley Biden’s belongings, including her diary, she took them. Harris and Robert Kurlander, her co-defendant in the case, initially tried to approach Donald Trump’s former campaign to sell the documents, but were referred to the FBI. The stolen goods were eventually sold for $40,000 to Project Veritas, a conservative news site.

The judge in the case described the criminal acts of Aimee Harris and her accomplice as despicable.

The theft of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s laptop also sparked controversy after it was reported in 2019. The laptop contained sensitive information about his business activities and personal life. The circumstances of the theft remain unclear, but it attracted attention during the 2020 US presidential campaign, and continues to do so today.

Michigan shooter’s parents in prison for 10 to 15 years

James and Jennifer Crumbley were sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison for their involvement in the Oxford shooting, which shook Michigan and the country in November 2021 and was orchestrated by their son, Ethan Crumbley.

For the first time in US history, parents are being held legally responsible for the actions of their children in mass shootings. They were found guilty of four counts of manslaughter. Prosecutors claim that their inaction and negligence contributed to a tragedy that could have been anticipated.

The Crumbleys were found directly responsible for the tragic events through their conduct or inaction in this high-profile trial in the United States. Experts see this case as a crucial test case for defining responsibility in mass shootings. They also point to the evolution of the legal system, which can now hold not only the direct perpetrators, but also those who incited them, accountable for their actions.

Prosecutors highlighted the lack of remorse shown by the shooter’s parents, as well as their failure to react to multiple red flags raised by their son in the weeks leading up to the shooting, which resulted in the deaths of four people.

Each of the victims’ families made statements before sentencing. The judge, for her part, highlighted the Crumbleys’ inaction, which subsequently led to this terrible event.

This unprecedented conviction sets a new milestone in the field of justice for mass shootings in the United States and criminal responsibility for both those directly and indirectly involved in such acts.

Trump sues Truth Social co-founders

Former President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against Wesley Moss and Andrew Litinsky, his co-founders of Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social.

On March 24, Trump and his legal team filed suit in civil court in Sarasota County, Florida, arguing that the media company had been mismanaged and launched inefficiently.

Moss and Litinsky, former contestants on Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, played a crucial role in the creation of Truth Social, the social network launched by Trump himself after he was banned from Twitter following the attack on the Capitol in January 2021.

In his complaint, Trump argues that the two co-founders made several mistakes that led to costly delays and mishandling of the company’s IPO. He therefore seeks to rescind their actions, accusing them of grossly failing to perform their duties and mismanaging the operation in various ways.

Last February, Moss and Litinsky initiated their own lawsuit in Delaware court, alleging that Trump was seeking to reduce the value of their shares by significantly increasing the number of authorized shares within the company.

Trump Media & Technology Group became a publicly traded company following its merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp.

Trump Media shares have also been volatile, reflecting the turmoil within the company.

Reports indicate a loss of $58.2 million and income of $4.1 million for the year 2023.
