The Matrix universe is adding a new chapter to its saga, and this expansion is not without a major upheaval. Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski will no longer be involved in the film’s sequel as writers or directors, but will be executive producers of The Matrix 5, handing over to Drew Goddard.

The search for a missing dog in Colorado has taken an unlikely turn: Ullr, the Border Collie/Rottweiler who had been missing for almost a year, has been spotted by surveillance cameras and is said to be in excellent health.

This has re-energized owner Jacob Dalbey’s efforts to find him.

Jacob Dalbey’s beloved dog disappeared on March 17, 2023, following a sudden and unexpected avalanche near Mount Chair. Ullr survived the accident, but was lost in the wild. While Dalbey and his friends were injured by the snow slide, Ullr escaped.

The search for Ullr continues today, thanks to the support and determination of the community.

Dalbey could not afford to fund the search due to the size of his medical bills, which included surgery, frostbite treatment and other expenses.

Deborah Wieker launched a GoFundMe page to help bring Ullr home. The campaign raised nearly $38,000 to find Ullr.

Dalbey received confirmation of his quest for answers after placing surveillance cameras to attract Ullr and providing him with food. Dalbey was delighted to see the warrior Ullr in the images taken on February 17 and 18, 2024.

Ullr’s story has been widely shared and Dalbey is grateful for all the support he has received, both from strangers and friends. These contributions have enabled the search to continue and given Dalbey hope of finding Ullr safe and sound.

What’s more, journalist and sports commentator Dan Patrick hinted that Adam Sandler himself had confirmed that the Happy Gilmore sequel was in development, and that the star had confirmed that he would be in the film, in his own role!

The decision followed a lawsuit filed by X Corp, headed by Elon Musk, against the Center for Countering Digital Hate. Musk alleged that the organization had illegally collected social media data in order to produce reports on the spread of extremism and hate speech.

In his complaint, Musk claimed that these reports were part of a fear campaign designed to intimidate advertisers and cause significant financial harm to his company. He also claimed that the Center for Countering Digital Hate had breached its user agreement by collecting this data.

In a detailed 52-page decision, the judge found that Musk’s concerns focused more on the Center for Countering Digital Hate’s criticism of X than on the data collection.

In addition, the judge ruled that Musk’s complaint violated the law protecting free speech, and that it fell under California’s anti-SLAPP statute, which is designed to preserve free speech.

The judge emphasized during the proceedings that Elon Musk’s legal team should have brought a defamation action instead, if the billionaire believed that the Center for Countering Digital Hate was making false or damaging claims against X.

This lawsuit represents a setback for Musk, who has presented himself as an absolute defender of freedom of expression. Criticized for his management of the social media giant, Musk sees his own defense of free speech widely denounced by his detractors.
