Fans and critics alike got their first look at Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix in this fall’s highly anticipated film, Joker: Folie à Deux, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 Joker movie.

Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, while Lady Gaga makes her debut as Harley Quinn, offering a fresh perspective on both the Joker and her story.

The teaser trailer unveiled by Warner Bros. in Las Vegas focuses mainly on Arthur Fleck’s descent into madness, but he’s no longer alone!

Joker: Folie à Deux may not be a musical after all, but the music will play a crucial role. It will underscore the potentially tragic and complex dynamic between the Joker and Harley Quinn, with a romance that is certainly strange, but also fascinating.

We imagine that Lady Gaga’s musical talents will also be put to good use.

Warner Bros. Pictures

Fans can’t wait to see how the next chapter in the Joker saga, and the performances of Phoenix and Gaga, will perhaps change their perception of these characters.
