Meet Taylor Swift… the billionaire!

Taylor Swift has now become a billionaire, having been included in Forbes’ recently published list of billionaires.

In fact, she is said to be the first music artist to become a virtual billionaire through her songs and shows alone… quite a feat!

According to the same source, the singer has amassed $1.1 billion thanks in part to her mega Eras Tour and her music catalog.

According to Billboard, her tour alone generated an estimated $900 million from ticket sales alone.

The singer thus joins the list of billionaires alongside Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and many others…

Taylor Swift will launch her next album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19, 2024, very soon indeed!

The Flames’ morale is not very high these days

The Calgary Flames lost 5-3 to the poor Anaheim Ducks last Tuesday (April 3), and the setback hurt the egos of some team members, including captain Mikael Backlund, an undisputed warrior.

While Backlund remained rather polite throughout his speech, the same cannot be said of other club leaders, such as MacKenzie Weegar… who was more corrosive than his captain.

Weegar mentioned that his group’s effort wasn’t acceptable, undoubtedly targeting certain players who haven’t been putting in the effort for too long already within this dressing room.

Since the Flames won’t be at the end-of-season ball this spring, victories no longer matter. On the other hand, that doesn’t mean that effort shouldn’t be the order of the day – quite the contrary. This clan has to set the table for the next campaign, and that means setting standards that everyone must respect.

The chief pilot, Ryan Huska, also spoke out about the flagrant lack of substance among his teammates.

https://twitter.com/NHLFlames/status/1775378499064471733

The Calgary Flames presented a very exciting line-up on paper at the start of the season.

Let’s hope that the desired sparkle will be effective in the next calendar…

A 4,8 earthquake hits New York!

New York City was rocked by a 4.8-magnitude earthquake Friday morning. In addition to New York City, New Jersey was also hit by the quake.

Parts of Connecticut and Massachusetts also felt the effects of the quake.

According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred at exactly 10:23 a.m., about 16 kilometers northwest of Bridgewater. In the process, the quake shook skyscrapers and several buildings across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, report the AP and Variety.

Although 4.8 is usually considered moderate, all indications point to it being “one of the biggest quakes ever to hit New York City”.

Trump sues Truth Social co-founders

Former President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against Wesley Moss and Andrew Litinsky, his co-founders of Trump Media & Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social.

On March 24, Trump and his legal team filed suit in civil court in Sarasota County, Florida, arguing that the media company had been mismanaged and launched inefficiently.

Moss and Litinsky, former contestants on Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, played a crucial role in the creation of Truth Social, the social network launched by Trump himself after he was banned from Twitter following the attack on the Capitol in January 2021.

In his complaint, Trump argues that the two co-founders made several mistakes that led to costly delays and mishandling of the company’s IPO. He therefore seeks to rescind their actions, accusing them of grossly failing to perform their duties and mismanaging the operation in various ways.

Last February, Moss and Litinsky initiated their own lawsuit in Delaware court, alleging that Trump was seeking to reduce the value of their shares by significantly increasing the number of authorized shares within the company.

Trump Media & Technology Group became a publicly traded company following its merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp.

Trump Media shares have also been volatile, reflecting the turmoil within the company.

Reports indicate a loss of $58.2 million and income of $4.1 million for the year 2023.

Matrix 5 in development at Warner!

Fans of The Matrix franchise will be delighted to learn that Warner Bros. has confirmed that The Matrix will return with the next sequel to the sci-fi saga launched in 1999.

The Matrix universe is adding a new chapter to its saga, and this expansion is not without a major upheaval. Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski will no longer be involved in the film’s sequel as writers or directors, but will be executive producers of The Matrix 5, handing over to Drew Goddard.

Goddard, best known for writing the screenplay for The Martian, will write and direct the fifth installment of the franchise, adding his proven expertise to this next chapter.

Warner Bros.

According to a Variety source, Goddard is in talks with Warner Bros. to present a new vision of the legacy of The Matrix universe, with innovative ideas to further enrich the saga. This news has raised concerns among fans of the franchise, who wonder about the direction the saga might take without the direct influence of the Wachowskis.

Details about The Matrix 5 are still scarce, as development of the film is still in its early stages. No information has been released about the plot, the actors who will reprise their roles, or the release date. Nevertheless, the announcement of this forthcoming film has generated a great deal of excitement in the film industry and among fans.

Warner Bros.

This news is certainly a wonderful way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the very first The Matrix film, which was released in cinemas on March 31, 1999!

One of the alleged culprits,Rashee Rice, was first spotted in a few photos obtained by the TMZ website, and in them, you can quickly see just how much havoc has been wreaked.

At the time of composing these few lines, it cannot be confirmed whether Rice was one of the five men who exited the Corvette and Lambo leaving the scene without giving their coordinates.
