The Diddy case takes a very dark turn

Is Sean Combs involved in sex trafficking?

The search of P. Diddy’s home has rocked the entertainment world. According to NBC News, federal law enforcement agents executed search warrants at several properties owned by entertainment mogul Sean Combs. The actions were carried out in Los Angeles, Miami and other locations as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

Homeland Security Investigations, a division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security responsible for complex crimes such as human trafficking, is leading the investigation, no less.

Clearly, the case takes a very dark turn the more we learn.

Representatives of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, however, declined to comment on the case.

Combs’ involvement in the investigation and his current position have not been clarified.

The images are striking, however, and of imposing police command posts around Combs’s Los Angeles residence in the affluent Holmby Hills neighborhood, and agents from Homeland Security Investigations. Agents were also seen at the Miami site processing documents.

These raids come after several months of controversy and rumors surrounding Combs. Combs has been the subject of numerous civil lawsuits related to allegations of sexual assault. Most notably, Cassie Ventura settled a lawsuit in November 2023 in which Combs was accused of raping and abusing her for years.

He denied the allegation.

In February, Combs was sued by a music producer who claimed that Combs had forced him to solicit prostitutes and pushed him to commit sexual acts.

Combs’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, called the allegations lies.

Is Shohei Ohtani involved in his translator’s scandal?

MLB is not only investigating Ippei Mizuhara’s allegations of theft and gambling, but also Shohei Ohtani, who certainly needs to know the habits of his translator over the last ten years.

Just recently, MLB officially opened an investigation into the matter, and it walked on eggshells with its statement.

Major League Baseball has been gathering information since the announcement of the allegations involving Mizuhara and, by the way, Shohei Ohtani… since it’s his money.

Sources in the matter told TMZ Sports that MLB officials are in the process of gathering information to specify whether or not Ohtani is involved in this affair that is creating shade for the Dodgers player.

Mizuhara, known as the great No. 17’s best friend, implicated him in his gambling debt story, indicating that Shohei Ohtani was fully aware of his debts as he loaned him millions of dollars in order to get him out of trouble.

However… a few moments later, he contradicted himself, saying that the Japanese man had no idea how much debt he had racked up as a result of his numerous bets.

On the other hand, Shohei Ohtani’s lawyers continue to claim that the superstar was the victim of massive theft at the hands of Mizuhara.

MLB simply doesn’t want Shohei Ohtani to become a kind of Pete Rose, who, despite monstrous performances, has been banned from baseball since 1989.

Big win for Trump, his bail is reduced!

An court intervened in former President Donald Trump’s legal affairs, reducing his bail for a civil fraud judgment in New York from $454 million to $175 million, a significant victory for Trump.

The showdown between Trump and New York Attorney General Letitia James has therefore been postponed, as the judge has given the former president more time to get the money together. James was due to start seizing Trump’s assets to offset a $454 million fine that Trump says he can’t pay. The court also granted Trump an additional ten days to collect the funds in addition to significantly reducing bail.

The New York appellate court’s order currently allows Trump and his children to continue running a business in New York and obtaining loans from the state’s financial institutions.

When this decision was made, Trump and his legal team were present at another hearing, for the trial of the bribery case in New York. They were discussing the possibility of delaying a case concerning payments made to Stormy Daniels. Trump’s legal team claimed that prosecutors had filed documents too late to be able to verify them before proceedings began.

The judge finally ruled in the case and ordered the trial to begin on April 15, without granting any further delays.

This decision represents a defeat for Trump, coming shortly after his victory in his civil judgment for fraud.

Martin St-Louis reveals what happened to his son

Martin St-Louis agrees to talk about the situation surrounding his departure from the Montreal Canadiens’ entourage on March 16, and thus the condition of his son Mason, the reason behind his hasty departure.

“I’d like to thank Geoff Molson, Jeff Gorton, Kent Hughes, along with Trevor Letowski, our players, coaches, and hockey operations staff for fully understanding and facilitating my need to be with my family for the past several days,” St-Louis said upon his return to the team. “Everyone within the Canadiens organization has been very supportive of my wife Heather and me as we fully focused on our son Mason and his recovery from a hockey injury. As parents, nothing is more important to us than our three sons, Ryan, Lucas, and Mason,” says Martin St-Louis via an official Canadiens press release.

Mason St-Louis suffered a serious injury during a hockey game in Connecticut, before suffering serious complications.

This led Martin St-Louis to return home to his family and be with his son and wife during this ordeal.

The news that Mason’s condition is improving is therefore excellent, and Martin St-Louis will be back with his troops in Denver immediately, when the Canadiens take on the Avalanche on Tuesday evening (March 26).

The Canucks could achieve a first on Monday night

On Monday night, there are only two games on the calendar, but one can’t go without the other because of the overall standings. The Canucks, at the top of the NHL, take on the Los Angeles Kings, while on the other side, the Knights struggle against the St. Louis Blues.

So, if one doesn’t go without the other, it’s because of the potential results: if the Canucks win and the Knights lose, the Vancouver Canucks would become the first team to clinch a playoff spot.

Before tonight’s games, the Canucks have 98 points, which would take them to 100 with a win over the Los Angeles Kings. With this (potential) 46th victory, the Canucks could become the first team to secure a spring dance.

Rick Tocchet’s players have been on fire lately, winning seven of their last ten games, including three in a row. No one in this group wants to slow down, including captain Quinn Hughes, who has a total of 10 points in his last 10 duels.

This edition of the Vancouver Canucks boasts no fewer than three players in the top 15 scorers in the league: J.T. Miller (90 points), Elias Pettersson (84) and Quinn Hughes (80).

The Los Angeles Kings, who are riding a three-game winning streak, are back on track. The Canucks will have to show up with the knife between their teeth if they wish to halt the Kings’ winning streak.

Gorilla attacks zookeeper

A guard at the Fort Worth Zoo experienced a terrifying face-to-face encounter when a gorilla charged her under the lenses of one of the visitors, who managed to film the breathtaking scene. Naturally, the video went viral on TikTok, garnering thousands of views.

The silverback gorilla’s name is Elmo, he’s 34 years old and he came out of his cave briskly towards one of the janitors, who threw a bucket to distract the big gorilla.

The video shows the woman running towards a door to “protect” herself from the gorilla, which suddenly stops running and stares straight into her eyes for several seconds.

The man who filmed the video is Ben White, a former zoo security guard, and he pointed out the contribution of a second security guard who was playing hide-and-seek to distract Elmo… and prevent him from charging the other person again.

The strategy was successful, as Elmo eventually calmed down, while holding up the saucepan (the bucket) as he tried to give it back to the employees, demonstrating that he had come to his senses.

It should be noted that no one was injured during this intervention, which took place several months ago, but which has just been picked up on social networks.

The world’s largest blueberry has been found!

Recently, a blueberry from Corindi in New South Wales entered the Guinness Book of Records as the heaviest picked in the world. It was picked somewhere in November, to make a dramatic entry into the fleshed-out account of world records.

The blueberry measured 39.31 millimetres, almost the size of a golf ball, and weighed 20.40 grams when placed on a small scale. We’re talking about 10 times the size of a blueberry you pick in the fields during the summer months. This blueberry comes from a new variety called Eterna and is grown by the farm that harvested it.

In 2020, a company from Western Australia presented the world’s heaviest blueberry, weighing in at 16.20 grams.

By the way, with this new variety, records could be broken one after the other, since when this one was picked, some twenty other blueberries were almost as big as the one that will end up in the Guinness World Records.

Going forward, the company won’t necessarily be looking to beat the “size” record, as the main aim is to improve heat tolerance and disease resistance.

An 11-foot alligator seized from a man in New York!

A New York (Hamburg) man has had his 11-foot, 750-pound alligator named Albert seized by the state Department of Environmental Conservation, but the beast’s owner promises to fight to get him back.

Tony Cavallaro designed a home for Albert, an in-ground pool in his Hamburg backyard. Albert’s health problems include blindness and “spinal” complications.

Albert has lived with Cavallaro since he was very young, so he allows curious people to enter the water to pet the alligator, which lives in his space without being attached to anything.

CaptureCBSNews

Since the alligator was seized, it has been with a specialized keeper, who will assess the “damage”. The purpose of the capture remains in “the interest of public safety and the health, safety and protection of the alligator”, the department said.

According to the department of State Environmental Conservation, Mr. Cavallaro did not take good care of his Albert, but he certainly refutes the allegations against him, indicating that he took better care of his alligator than some parents take of their children.

CaptureCBSNews

“They acted as if I were a criminal dealing in weapons and drugs.” exclaimed Cavallaro.

Incidentally, Cavallaro has owned the animal for 34 years and has always respected the rules, renewing his license every year as required by law.
