HBO is reportedly actively preparing the return of Big Little Lies, one of its critically acclaimed series, with a script being written for the highly anticipated third season, People reports.
Fans of the series have been eager to know the fate of the protagonists since the end of the second season… so the announcement of a season 3 is big news!
And it looks as if Nicole Kidman is once again carrying the project, having promised fans she’d be back with a season 3, even though at times it seemed highly unlikely.
Although several of the series’ actresses, including Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz, have repeatedly expressed a keen interest in reprising their roles, no official announcement has yet been made about the possibility of a series return. And needless to say, these four stars have a pretty busy schedule…
HBO has not revealed any details about the plot of the third season, currently being written in collaboration with Reese Witherspoon and Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty. The spectacular second season finale certainly set the table for many explosive storylines!
This is sure to also please fans of the late Jean-Marc Vallée, whose genius behind the camera for season 1 certainly contributed greatly to the series’ success… and to the fact that we’re still talking about it today.
New developments are emerging just a few weeks before the opening of the trial of the gunsmith on the Rust movie set, when according to Variety, prosecutors on the case would have offered Hannah Gutierrez Reed a favorable sentence if she explained the reason for the presence of real gun bullets on the set.
'Rust' Armorer Was Offered Leniency If She Explained Source of Live Bullet https://t.co/TmBaZ5dyIr
Reed is embroiled in a lengthy legal battle, which could have far-reaching consequences for her, following the terrible accident on the set of Rust that led to the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins. Reed has pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter and tampering with evidence for the trial scheduled for next February.
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the gunsmith in charge of the Rust set, is accused of negligently bringing real bullets onto the set, which would have ended up in Alec Baldwin’s gun. While he was rehearsing a scene in the film, the gun discharged and caused the cinematographer’s death, in 2021.
If convicted, Reed could face up to three years in prison.
At the time of writing, Alec Baldwin has also just been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case. Previously published videos filmed just days before the horrific shooting accident could be used in a future trial.
Hannah Gutierrez Reed’s trial will take place from February 21 to March 6 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as justice seeks to shed light on the events that led to Hutchins’ tragic death.
As for Alec Baldwin, his lawyers said they are confident that the case will be heard.
In her Instagram story , Cori posted a disturbing photo of herself lying in bed in hospital. She revealed that she cried when she found out she’d had a stroke and wondered why it happened to her.
But Cori has been battling lupus since the age of six, and it turns out that this disease can lead to strokes or other complications, which could be one explanation.
By September 2023, Cori had completely changed her approach to treating the disease. She explained that she had stopped taking her prescription medication five months earlier to adopt a holistic treatment plan.
This plan included herbal remedies and an increase in physical activity and water consumption. Indeed, she was exhausted from taking a large number of pills, and had been doing so since she was very young.
Despite the stroke she suffered, Cori is optimistic about her future health…
The Los Angeles Innocence Project agreed to look into one of the most widely publicized murder cases in the U.S., that of Scott Peterson, NBC reports. In 2004, Peterson was convicted of the murders of his pregnant wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn child.
Although he was initially sentenced to death, this sentence was overturned in 2020 by the California Supreme Court.
The Los Angeles Innocence Project has taken up the case of Scott Peterson, who was convicted of murdering his pregnant wife Laci Peterson.
The nonprofit organization is seeking new evidence in Peterson's original trial. https://t.co/FkBcKiqCDh
Peterson’s attorneys, members of the Los Angeles Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to exonerating the wrongfully convicted, have filed legal papers alleging violations of federal and state constitutional rights. They refer to newly discovered evidence that they think strengthens the claim of Peterson’s innocence.
In this case, which captivated America, Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife in a historic, high-profile trial. Laci Peterson, 27, was eight months pregnant when she mysteriously disappeared on Christmas Eve 2002. The bodies of Laci and her unborn child were found in San Francisco Bay several months later, in April 2003.
The Los Angeles Innocence Project pointed out that its review of the evidence presented at Peterson’s first trial highlighted the absence of several pieces of information crucial to the defense in the case files.
In particular, substantial discrepancies between the police reports and the court records used during the trial were highlighted. New information was revealed, including details of a burglary in the Petersons’ neighborhood, a van fire on the day Laci disappeared in 2002, and documents relating to interviews with key witnesses.
These elements could help determine responsibility for the tragic death of Laci and her unborn child.
Scott Peterson was denied a new trial following allegations of misconduct by a jury member during the original trial.
The decision came more than a year after the California Supreme Court instructed the Superior Court judge to consider whether the juror’s misconduct had compromised the fairness of Peterson’s trial.
Now, the Los Angeles Innocence Project aspires to shed new light on the case.

In an interview with Page Six, Jillian Michaels expressed her concerns about Oprah Winfrey’s use of Ozempic. As she is a Weight Watchers’ important shareholder, this could indicate a potential conflict of interest.
Jillian Michaels also claims that Oprah receives a financial incentive from Ozempic… and notes that Weight Watchers bought a company last year that would also provide access to drugs like Ozempic!
In 2023, Weight Watchers actually launched a program for users of Ozempic and other similar weight-loss drugs.
Oprah has always been outspoken about her body image and weight issues. She has tried many different approaches, but recently admitted to including a weight-loss drug in her routine.
These revelations sparked debate about the use of pharmaceuticals to help manage weight.
Despite her reported, but still not confirmed, use of Ozempic, Oprah insists she has continued to maintain an active lifestyle, set fitness goals and stick to healthy eating habits.
Oprah also revealed in an interview with People magazine that her fight against obesity had consumed her for many years.
While Oprah remains a role model for many when it comes to adopting a healthier lifestyle, Jillian Michaels urges people to be cautious when it comes to weight-loss drugs.
Indeed, they can have certain side effects, and Michaels encourages traditional methods instead.
