Anticipation around the 4th season of the HBO series True Detective continues to build, and the trailer just unveiled promises a January premiere that’s sure to captivate fans.
Actress Jodie Foster, who will be seen in the role of Detective Liz Danvers, is of course at the heart of the excitement. The investigation by Danvers, played by Foster, and her partner Evangeline Navarro, played by Kali Reis, promises to be… chilling.

Despite posting a profit in the third quarter for the first time in over a year, Spotify has succumbed to the pressures experienced by many in the technology sector, announcing a major round of redundancies. The Swedish company, which employs around 9,000 people, plans to shed around 1,500 employees.
In the face of positive earnings, with a profit of 65 million euros for the period ending September and a subscriber base that grew from 345 million at the end of 2020 to 601 million, the layoffs may seem counter-intuitive. However, Ek stressed the need for change to be both productive and effective, pointing out that despite growth, the company had become less efficient and had strayed from its core principles of innovation and agility.

Elon Musk’s recent inflammatory comments towards advertisers who have decided to abandon the platform have raised tensions between the parties, with the result that more and more companies have opted to withdraw their ads from the Musk-run platform.
Walmart, Disney, Sony and IBM ended their advertising campaigns in response to Musk’s support for an anti-Semitic tweet, while Musk responded that it was one of the stupidest things he’d ever done.
