Amy Schumer cyberbullies Nicole Kidman, apologizes (not really) and then goes after Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis!

Amy Schumer is known for her edgy sense of humor, but a joke on her Instagram account simply didn’t sit well with her followers, who accused her of cyberbullying… actress Nicole Kidman!

In the now-deleted post, Amy Schumer received plenty of criticism when she said:

“This how humans sit”, about a photo taken of actress Nicole Kidman at the US Open, mocking her unnatural pose in the shot.

The star, who has since deleted the joke from her Instagram account, has apologized, but not without throwing more shade… this time at Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis!

“I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien. I will be asking the cast of that 70s show to write letters advocating for my forgiveness,” she said!

Remember that Kutcher and Kunis are in the news these days, as they too are embroiled in controversy. Letters sent by the couple to a judge in the rape trial of That ’70s Show co-star Danny Masterson have been published, in which both stars praise Masterson and ask the judge to spare him. Masterson was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison after being accused by multiple women. Of course, Kutcher and Kunis’ letters sparked public outrage, and they also had to apologize.

Amy Schumer thus adds her voice, however awkwardly, to several celebrities who have sharply criticized the That ’70s Show stars in their unconditional support for their colleague convicted of raping two women.

Notably, Christina Ricci, who wrote in an Instagram story shortly after the letters were published:

“People we know as great guys can be predators and abusers and it’s hard to accept, but we have to.”

Kathy Griffin denounced the couple quite on TikTok:

“(…) this guy was also convicted of drugging these women, that’s such a serious thing that I don’t really care that (…) he was a good guy to work with.”

@kathygriffin

Trigger warning. This has haunted me my whole life. I tried everything I could think of. No one would do anything. #SA #speakup #believevictims #believewomen #triggerwarning

Schumer, for her part, has done a good job of deflecting attention from her comments against Kidman…

Blink-182 confirms new album!

Blink-182 have announced the release of One More Time, their next studio album, scheduled for October 20!

The legendary Southern California punk rock band rose to prominence in the mid-1990s with their debut albums Cheshire Cat (1995) and Dude Ranch (1997).

The celebrated trio of Mark Hoppus on bass, Tom DeLonge on guitar and Travis Barker on drums was formed in 1998, however, when Travis replaced Scott Raynor as drummer.

The release of Enema of the State in 1999 propelled the trio to fame. The album included hit singles such as All the Small Things and What’s My Age Again? and these songs received extensive radio and MTV airplay, helping the album achieve multi-platinum status.

Blink-182 has released several successful albums, including Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001), Blink-182 (2003) and Neighborhoods (2011), despite an indefinite hiatus in 2005, during which the band members pursued various solo and side projects. It was in the midst of these changes and a few periods of inactivity that Blink-182 released California (2016) and Nine (2019), their two most recent studio albums.

And One More Time, the first single from their brand-new album of the same name, can be heard from Thursday!

Almost a year away from celebrating the return of the original trio, an announcement that surprised everyone in October 2022, the band has since been on world tour until 2024, but we can perhaps hope for the addition of new tour dates!

Russell Brand facing serious allegations of assault

Serious allegations against Russell Brand have been made public in recent days, hours after Brand published a video on Instagram in which he claimed that false things would be published about him by the media.

In a Sunday Times article, four women publicly accused Russell Brand of rape, sexual assault and controlling and abusive behavior, in events that allegedly took place between 2006 and 2013.

CaptureChannel4News

Among several testimonies offered by the Sunday Times and also broadcast on Channel 4 News, one victim testifies in particular to an exchange of text messages after an alleged attack by Brand:

“When a girl says NO, it means no”, the victim allegedly wrote the day after the events.

A disturbing message to which Brand allegedly replied: “Sorry.”

Screenshots and a medical report supporting certain allegations against Brand were also reportedly viewed by the Sunday Times.

Other women who have worked with Brand have also denounced highly inappropriate behavior on various film sets for the British TV channel Channel 4.

One of his accusers, who was only 16 at the time of the alleged acts, offers a particularly disturbing portrait of Russell Brand.

CaptureChannel4News

In a YouTube video viewed by 1.3 million people and published just hours before the allegations were made public, Brand accused the mainstream media of inventing these accusations against him because he was using his voice against them and Big Pharma in all kinds of conspiracy theories.

While the police are encouraging women to press charges following these shocking revelations, The Guardian reveals that it has received a formal complaint against Brand for sexual assault, an alleged event that took place in 2003, according to the victim.
