Simpsons: 34th season will reveal how they can predict the future

One of the writers of the Simpsons writers for many years and now showrunner of the show, Matt Selman, has offered a promise to fans of the cult series: they will finally discover how the show managed to predict the future so often!

In an interview with Deadline, Selman appeared really excited about the 34th season, as he teased fans a bit, saying that a crazy conceptual episode will explain how The Simpsons can actually predict the future.

Among other things, The Simpsons predicted, more or less accurately and sometimes outright perfectly, the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of the “killer hornets,” the election of Donald Trump (even with the staircase scene), or the merger between Fox and Disney.

The 34th season of The Simpsons will begin on September 25, as Homer enters a conspiracy gang, while hunting a missing turtle…

Brad Pitt is working closely with Lewis Hamilton

Brad Pitt ‘s team has recruited seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton to act as one of the producers of its latest big production that will be inspired by motor racing.

Lewis immediately agreed to serve as a consultant on the set of the still-untitled upcoming film, which will be directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick).

To add another layer to Brad Pitt’s learning curve, he showed up at the British Grand Prix as a VIP in the pits to get a feel for this performance-oriented world, reports The Sun.

He experienced the GP at a driver’s pace!

Of course, Lewis Hamilton will be credited as an executive producer on the project because of his involvement on this upcoming blockbuster, in which we will discover an older Brad Pitt mentoring a young driver.

Toronto airport ranks among the ten worst in the world

More than half of the flights are delayed at this airport!

Since the travel season is in full swing, many tourists are facing a major issue: delayed flights. Between the labor shortage, the influx of travelers and the COVID restrictions that are still in place in some locations, smooth travel is almost a miracle!

In a recent CNN article, it was reported that a Canadian airport was ranked in the top 10 worst in the world for flight delays. And to top it all off, this airport takes the top spot! That’s right, Toronto Pearson International Airport has an unfortunate 52.5% of flights delayed, or more than one out of every two flights. Oops!

The data taken to calculate this percentage is based on flights that took place between May 26 and July 19, so if you have to transit through Toronto airport, expect a high risk of having your flight delayed.

In addition, Toronto Pearson International Airport ranks fourth in the world for flight cancellations with a 6.5% cancellation rate during the same period mentioned above.

In short, it takes a lot of patience to travel by plane!

The shows start again on July 31!

Justin Bieber will finally resume his Justice tour on July 31, after a forced rest, due to Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, People reported.

The singer will begin a festival tour starting in Italy, then continue to South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He will finish the tour in Europe, in 2023.
