We know the verdict in Gwyneth Paltrow’s case and it’s the end of a bizarre saga

It’s the end of a strange saga to say the least!

In what looked like a media circus and a grotesque Hollywood sketch at times, the civil trial of Gwyneth Paltrow, who was sued by a man who accused her of seriously injuring him during a skiing collision, ended with a favorable verdict for the star.

The jury composed of her “peers” has indeed retained her version of events, as well as that of her children and witnesses from her clan, to the detriment of the man in question, the plaintiff, Terry Sanderson.

The latter is therefore recognized as the culprit in this case of ski accident in Utah, and ordered to pay $1 symbolic to Gwyneth Paltrow.

The jury declares that “100%” of the responsibility of the case is on Sanderson, to the great relief of Paltrow.

The latter offered a few words to her accuser at the exit of the courthouse…

“I wish you well,” she reportedly whispered Sanderson, reports The Guardian and Entertainment Tonight.

A dog jumps into the water to attack a shark!

The world’s bravest dog remains in the Bahamas, having dived into the sea without question to attack a 12-foot shark in front of frightened British tourists who were on a tour.

In the video, the shark can be seen “lurking in the water” when it sees the dog jump in to play with it. Also on the video, you can hear the tourists yelling at the dog to get him out of the water!

You can clearly hear “get out of there baby” or “stop chasing him”, but none of that worked and the dog continued to play with the shark that was hiding underneath him.

The dog seems to have won this episode, as the shark moved away and did not come back, which was a relief to the tourists who were watching this fight from their boat.

“We had slowed down to allow guests to watch, and the shark approached the shoreline and just as we were all looking at the shark, the dog noticed it too!” said Rebecca Lightbourn, the booking manager at Exuma Water Sports.

In short, the dog accomplished his mission to protect his private island.

The world’s largest alligator strutted onto a golf course

Before we introduce the video featuring a monster alligator, you should know that we don’t know if it’s true, but all indications are that it is… until proven otherwise.

With that being said, here is the largest alligator that has ever been captured by a cell phone, on a golf course, while a golfer managed to capture some excellent images.

It’s monstrous, gigantic, intimidating and scary, but at the same time, it’s cute, right? He just walks and then lies down on the grass. Majestic!

Taylor Swift allowed herself an appearance at the concert of The 1975 concert at London’s O2 Arena last Thursday, as she gave the crowd a treat – the first-ever live performance of Anti-Hero, from her latest album.

Swift also performed The City from The 1975 with a beautiful little Paco Rabanne chainmail dress at 3950 dollars, reminiscent of the disco parties of the ’75s.

The design of the dress dates back exactly to the 1960s, when stars like Dua Lipa, Sophie Turner and Laura Harrier wore the sequinned model.

To match her look, the 33-year-old pop singer wore towering $2495 heels designed by Christian Louboutin, a necklace and her usual red lipstick. She also had a braided bun that women wore in those years.

“Taylor wears a fearless outfit with folk hair while performing a song from Midnights. The #TheErasTour is about to get wild. Did Taylor Folklore make an appearance? She’s wearing a mirrored dress with her little Folklore buns!” one fan posted on Twitter.

Yes, all indications are that Taylor Swift will be wearing this ensemble when she kicks off her Eras Tour this March, if we understand her message delivered on Instagram correctly.

Crave announces a horror movie marathon for the whole month of October!

What better way to mark the scariest month of the year than with a horror movie every day?

Crave has just made an announcement that will greatly please horror movie fans: every day in October, a new horror movie will be offered to subscribers of the streaming service.

The movies will be available for a limited time, so we suggest you plan a few viewing marathons during the month of October.

A horror movie a day is heaven for people who like to get the chills! Special Halloween programming will include classics such as the 1976 film Carrie and more recent films. A HALLOWEEN section will be featured on the Crave homepage so that everyone can find the movies easily.

James Franco to play Fidel Castro in new film

“Finding and convincing James Franco to play Castro was a fun process.”

James Franco will play Fidel Castro in a brand new feature film about his daughter, Alina Fernandez, Deadline reports.

Alina de Cuba will begin shooting on August 15 in Cartagena and Bogota, Colombia. The Spanish colonial architecture of these two cities is reminiscent of the settings of Castro’s time in Cuba.

The film will highlight the life of Alina, who was born from a secret relationship between Fidel Castro and public figure Natalia “Naty” Revuelta. At the age of 10, she learned from her mother that “El Commandante” was her biological father. She became one of his greatest critics and was even forbidden to leave the country.

The producer, John Martinez O’Felan, mentioned to Deadline that he was looking for someone who physically resembles Fidel Castro and has his charisma.

“Finding and convincing James Franco to play Castro was a fun and challenging process and was the collaborative work of the universe, as our director’s initial order was to find an actor who physically resembled the real Castro to build from, in addition to finding someone that Alina Fernandez would strongly approve of,” added O’Felan.

He concluded the interview by saying that working with such an exciting and challenging cast has been a true blessing.

In short, we are counting the days until the release of Alina from Cuba on the big screen.

Musical chair in F1: Fernando Alonso joins Aston Martin

Fernando Alonso, who has been driving for Alpine since 2021, will leave the team to join Aston Martin for the 2023 season. Remember that in Formula 1, the game of musical chairs is a very popular.

Alonso, a two-time world champion, will replace Sebastian Vettel, who has four championships under his belt, in the Aston Martin of Lawrence Stroll.

Shakira could face up to 8 years in prison in Spain

It’s not going well for the singer!

It was learned in the last few hours that the famous singer Shakira could be sentenced to 8 years in prison for an alleged tax fraud committed in Spain.

The country’s prosecutors announced that they would ask the court to sentence the star to eight years and two months in prison if she is found guilty at trial.

Things are going badly for the singer! Indeed, the latter is accused of tax fraud of a total of 14.5 million euros, for unpaid taxes between the years 2012 and 2014 on Spanish soil.

The full indictment includes six counts against the Colombian singer. The latter has refused a settlement agreement proposed by prosecutors, preferring to opt for a trial. The date has not yet been set.

Shakira’s public relations people have stated in a press release that the singer “has always cooperated and respected the law” and they accuse the Spanish Tax Agency of having violated the artist’s rights. On the side of the Barcelona prosecutors, they argue instead that since the singer spent a good part of the year on Spanish soil between 2012 and 2014, she should have paid taxes in the country.

Shakira was named at the end of 2021 in the case of the Pandora Papers, those confidential documents on world leaders who have done business with tax havens.

What a story! We can not wait to know the outcome of this legal saga for Shakira.
