British stars Elizabeth Hurley, Trudie Styler and Bob Geldof helped to raise $50 million US for a children’s charity during a lavish charity dinner held in London on Thursday (June 5), reported Starpulse.com.
The annual dinner, Absolute Return for Kids (ARK), took place at the Royal Naval College in London, which was organised by actress Uma Thurman’s businessman boyfriend, Arpad Busson.
The benefit attracted many big celebrities, including former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair and his wife Cherie, and the legendary singer, Stevie Wonder.
The guests donated between $2 000 and $20 000 US per person to reserve a spot at the event.
