The 42-year old singer already has a nine-year old son, René-Charles, with her husband René Angélil. She revealed that she doesn’t like talking too much about her attempts to conceive another baby but she hopes to become pregnant soon, Music-News reports.
She says, "Well we’re crossing our fingers. We’re waiting for good news hopefully. I don’t want to talk about it so much because I’m superstitious, but I know people have been very wonderful for us and praying for us. Right now we are crossing our fingers, we hope for the best and I can’t wait to give people good news."
The superstar does not want to give out any information that could mislead her fans.
This is Dion’s fifth attempt since last year to conceive via in vitro fertilization. There was news last August that the singer was finally pregnant with her second child. However, in November, the couple disappointedly revealed that Celine was no longer pregnant.
The couple has not become discouraged and still hope to welcome a second child one day.
