Although her recent attempt at in vitro fertilization was not successful, the singer and her family are openly optimistic, and will keep trying for baby number two.
The 41-year-old singer said, "I feel strong and honestly, we’re very blessed. We have a wonderful child, we’re extremely happy."
Dion and her husband, René Angélil, 67, are already the parents of a son, René-Charles, 8.
Dion doesn’t seem discouraged following her latest attempt to become pregnant. She added, "You know how it works. We are great. We hope for the best, we hope to get pregnant. If it happens, it happens."
The star also revealed that she and her husband will continue working with the same doctor and fertility clinic in New York that they’ve used in the past.
Last August, Dion announced that she was expecting her second child. However, Angélil announced in November that his wife was not pregnant.
