Céline Dion plans to continue breastfeeding at work

Pop songstress will still breastfeed after she returns to her Las Vegas show.

French-Canadian pop songstress Celine Dion, 42, plans to continue to breastfeed her four-month-old twins after she returns to work March 15 for her Las Vegas show, reports thisislondon.co.uk.

Dion will begin a three-year series of concerts at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on March 15, and plans to continue breastfeeding twins Nelson and Eddy, as long as they need it. Experts recommend breastfeeding with its attendant nutrients and health benefits, for at least the first six months of life.

When asked about how she was going to manage it, Dion said "I can either go to them or they can come to me – it’s going to be practical, it’s going to be easy since I’m still breastfeeding the babies, so it’s every three hours – for both.

"The show is an hour and 40 minutes. Then I have time to shower and get loose and relax and breastfeed the babies again and then have a bite and go to bed myself."

The award-winning singer also has a 10-year-old son, René-Charles, with husband René Angélil. She says big brother René-Charles gets along very well with his siblings, saying he keeps trying to make them laugh.

"He’s in school, he’s got his buddies, he’s ten years old – of course he’s playing funny face with them, you know, he’s doing all that type of thing.”

This Sunday, for a record sixth time, Dion will be performing at the 83rd Academy Awards; she will sing the song Smile for the ceremony’s ‘In Memoriam’ segment.
