Céline Dion returns to Vegas

Céline Dion will head back to work in Las Vegas.

Céline Dion is heading back to Las Vegas. She just signed a three-year contract to work in Nevada’s gaming capital.

Starting March 15, 2011, Céline Dion will star in a new show at Caesars Palace, the establishment that hosted her A New Day show. This time out, Dion signed a contract for 70 shows a year.

In an interview with QMI, her husband and agent René Angélil explains that this contract will allow Dion to breathe. "We’re very happy to return to the Las Vegas stage. The schedule will be human for Celine, to avoid tiring her out. This second show in Las Vegas will be as amazing as the first adventure."

41-year old Céline Dion sang for nearly three million people during her first Las Vegas show between 2003 and 2007. She earned at least $400 million.
