Singer Celine Dion will make her big screen debut in a romantic comedy called It’s All Coming Back to Me.
The Quebec star will play herself in the film, as well as perform her own songs, including new ones that she has never heard before, Variety reports.
The film is not autobiographical. It is even a remake of a 2016 German film SMS für Dich.
The 54-year-old star, who has been dreaming of movies for decades, will share the lead in the film with actress Priyanka Chopra.
In It’s All Coming Back to Methe character played by Chopra is in mourning. The woman makes a habit of sending romantic texts to her late fiancé’s old cell phone to cope with her loss. The number turns out to be reassigned to another man, played by Sam Heughan. The two heartbroken characters meet and develop a connection.
Celine Dion ‘s film debut can be seen in theaters on February 10, 2023, with a new song by the legendary diva as a bonus.
