Celine Dion urges Britney Spears to stay in Vegas

Vegas show allows new mom to spend time with family every day.

Canadian pop singer and new mother of twins Celine Dion is urging Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue to consider making Las Vegas home, as she has done since 2003, reports Orange News.

"If Britney and Kylie want to come to Vegas and do a residency like me,” Dion told the Daily Star, “I say go for it. Vegas is changing. There is room for everyone – new singers and older ones."

"When I first came here in 2003, people said my career was over. I’m here because I love singing, and this allows me to be with my family."

Dion has been wowing critics with her latest show, Celine, and recommends her fellow pop stars “go for it” if they are offered a Vegas performance contract.

Rumors continue to swirl around the arrival of the two stars in the gambling capital, as they each have large-scale shows tailor-made for Las Vegas.

Currently on tour with her Aphrodite Les Folies, Aussie pop star Minogue said, "I’ve got my Las Vegas show right here. We’ve been talking about it, so if I do a residency I definitely have the show for it."

Dion has broken new ground for young female performers in finding a way to stay home and raise a family while continuing to perform live for a legion of fans loyal enough to follow her anywhere.
