This year, designer Karl Lagerfeld chose London to stage the event for the veterans of fashion.
Nearly 450 people, including several celebrities, attended the event, which recognised those who work with feathers, pearls and silk flowers, yesterday (December 6).
For the show, the models wore futuristic shoes, hats, beads, feathers and lace. The sixty new designs shown on the runway will be available in boutiques as early as May.
Last year, the annual event which helps to train the next generation of artisans, took place in Monte Carlo.
