Changes for Phantom Planet

Phantom Planet launched a new album under a new record label.

According to Billboard.com, Phantom Planet’s last album was four years ago. This spring, the group will be making a comeback with their new album, Raise the Dead. The album’s launch is scheduled for April 15 under Fueled By Ramen.

The group’s singer, Alex Greenwald, stated, "It seems like every record is sort of a new beginning for us. This one took embarrassingly about four years from start to finish. But with a new label, which we’re really excited about it, it’s sort of a new path for us."

Despite some changes in the members, (Jacques Brautbar left after the album release in 2004), and in the record label (the band left Epic), Greenwald insists that the band is not dissolving.

The group has been very busy. They are now on tour with The Zombies and Sting, while working on new material for Raise the Dead.
