Charges against Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter dropped

Jon Bon Jovi’s teenage daughter Stephanie Rose won’t face charges after drugs were found in her college dorm room when she reportedly overdosed on Wednesday (14.11.12).

Drug charges against Jon Bon Jovi’s teenage daughter are set to be dropped.

Police were called after the Hamilton College student – whose father battled drug addiction in his youth – was found unresponsive in her dorm room in Kirkland, New York in the early hours of Wednesday (14.11.12) but 19-year-old Stephanie Rose and the male pal who was with her won’t face charges.

According to gossip website TMZ, the District Attorney dropped all charges because of a "New York law that specifically prohibits prosecution of people experiencing a drug overdose — as well as the people who help them seek medical care".

A small bag of heroin along with marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were reportedly discovered in Stephanie’s room.

Stephanie’s troubles come shortly after Jon was forced to cut short his UK publicity tour and boarded a private jet to return to his wife and children after their $24 million home was badly damaged by Hurricane Sandy leaving them stranded without power.

A source close to the 50-year-old singer said: "He was really incredibly anxious for his family who were stuck in New York in an apartment and was desperate to be reunited with them."
