A judge agreed to drop the charges in exchange for a fine paid by the star, who will next be seen in the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
In this case, an arrest warrant had been issued for Shia LaBeouf for not appearing in court. His lawyer arrived the next day and filed a not guilty plea for his client.
