People reports that Sheen is temporarily staying with a friend while his wife, Brooke Mueller, heads back to their California home.
Mueller flew from Aspen to Los Angeles with the couple’s twin boys for a one-week stay. She will then head back to Aspen for her husband’s court hearing in Colorado.
Sheen left home to avoid violating his restraining order after being accused of domestic violence on Christmas Day. A dispute broke out between Sheen and Mueller, forcing Mueller to call the police as she feared for her life. The actor was arrested and released on bail the same evening. He is expected to appear in court on January 20.
Mueller’s attorney, Yale Galanter, has been trying to pull strings so that his client could meet with her husband. Galanter requested for the restraining order to be lifted. The couple wants to give their marriage another shot and intends to seek counselling. Sheen must also learn to deal with his anger issues.
