TMZ reports that Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, is recovering in an intensive care unit at a LA hospital. The actor has been at his wife’s side.
Sheen showed up at the hospital with two friends, including Mark Burg, the producer of his show, Two and a Half Men. Sheen has been living in Burg’s guest house while his wife has been staying at their Los Angeles residence.
The actor was arrested for domestic violence on Christmas Day, and was given a court restraining order. The couple is allowed to be in the same room together, but must not directly communicate with each other. Thus, Sheen could be in Mueller’s hospital room, but cannot speak to her.
Mueller was suffering from a high fever, which is likely caused from pneumonia. It was reported that Sheen’s wife had undergone oral surgery earlier this week, and that she has been treating it with the help of antibiotics.
