Charlie Sheen radio rant ends show for season

Two and a Half Men star’s vitriolic rant about “losers” who don’t appreciate his “magic.”

Maybe they’ll have to change the name to ‘Two and Half Mean,’ but Charlie Sheen’s latest escapade has caused CBS to announce that the hit TV show, on hiatus while the actor was in rehab, is officially ended for the season.

In a rambling 20-minute interview with pal and radio announcer, Alex Jones, the actor, claiming that he is “clean,” unleashed spiteful tirades against a variety of targets. He slammed the creator of his hit TV show Two and a Half Men, Chuck Lorre, in addition to attacking any “losers” and “sissies” who don’t appreciate his “magic,” including Alcoholics Anonymous, and even Thomas Jefferson, reports People.

"Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season," said a statement from producer Warner Bros. Television and the CBS network.

The star who was paid $2 million per episode, responded to the statement with an open letter posted on TMZ.com.

"…I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can’t handle my power and can’t handle the truth," the letter reads. "I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words – imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists."

The letter concludes with Sheen asking for fans for support.

"I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade," he writes, "to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong."
