Charlize Theron Fights for Women’s Rights

Charlize Theron will be producing the film Florence of Arabia, as well as playing the lead role.

Theron’s production company, Denver and Delilah Films, has acquired the film rights to the novel "Florence of Arabia," reports Variety.

Written by Christopher Buckley, the book tells the story of a U.S. State Department employee who battles for women’s rights after her friend is executed for marrying a Middle East prince.

Theron will play the title role, and the screenplay is being written by Dean Craig.

In the meantime, we can next see Charlize Theron with Viggo Mortensen and Robert Duvall in the film The Road, which hits theatres on October 16.
