Actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg has become the new face of Balenciaga, reports Vogue.fr.
David Sims took the photos of Gainsbourg in Los Angeles, featuring the clothing line for the company’s winter 2008/09 colection.
The photo session took place at the new Balenciaga boutique on Madison Avenue.
Gainsbourg became instant friends with Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of Balenciaga, after the star began regularly wearing his designs.
Gainsbourg is replacing actress Jennifer Connelly as the brand’s spokesmodel.
