According to a report from the Daily Telegraph, the 62-year-old actress is in talks with Warner Bros. Studios to play Catwoman, a sworn nemesis of Batman.
If she accepts the role, Cher would be directed by Christopher Nolan and would star opposite Christian Bale. "Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years," said a Batman crew member.
The source added that the next Catwoman must have a completely different personal than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer, who have already suited up before in the skin-tight cat costume.
Besides Cher, Johnny Depp is also taking part of the adventure as he gets ready to become the evil Riddler.
Filming will begin next year in Vancouver.
