Chris Brown banned from England

Chris Brown’s past continues to haunt him.

Singer Chris Brown was forced to postpone part of his European tour after being refused entry to England, Orange News reports.

Brown is trying to make a comeback with his Fan Appreciation tour in Europe. However, part of the tour had to be cancelled when British immigration officials refused to grant him a work visa.

It appears the visa application was rejected because of his conviction following a nasty fight with ex-girlfriend Rihanna last year. The singer pleaded guilty to the charges against him and was  sentenced to six months of community service, five years of probation and ordered to stay away from Rihanna.

A spokesperson for Brown said: "Due to issues surrounding his work visa, (the) Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown’s Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support."

Chris Brown was supposed to perform in Glasgow tomorrow (June 9) before stopping in London, Birmingham and Manchester, as well as Cork and Dublin in Ireland.
