Chris Brown has become the subject of an investigation for allegedly making threats and for assault, however, it has not been revealed whether the victim was his girlfriend, Rihanna, reports People.
A police officer stated, "The identity of the victim will not be released. Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality."
The incident occurred over the weekend, when Brown and a woman were having a conversation, which then turned into an altercation.
Brown was taken to the police station yesterday evening (February 8) for questioning, and paid a $50 000 bail before being released.
The singer is expected to appear in court on March 5.
Brown and Rihanna were scheduled to perform at the Grammys last night, but they had to cancel.
