Attorneys for Chris Brown have cancelled their request for a special hearing, which was to take place during an indictment reading, discussing Brown’s violent acts towards Rihanna, reports Starpulse.com.
The singer was accused of having inflicted bodily injuries, and for threatening his girlfriend Rihanna, during an incident that occurred on February 8.
Brown is scheduled to appear in front of a judge on April 6 to present his plea, however this month, his team of lawyers asked for a private hearing, during which they were supposed to discuss Rihanna’s version of the story.
After the meeting was postponed at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Brown’s team finally decided to cancel the special hearing, for reasons that have not been revealed.
Brown will return to court on April 6 for the next reading of indictments.
