Chris Cornell Talks About Soundgarden Reunion

Chris Cornell isn’t entirely against the idea of reuniting with his former Soundgarden band mates.

The former Soundgarden frontman recently discussed the possibility of a reunion with the Washington Post.

Cornell was asked about his thoughts on his former band mates, Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron, playing with Tad Doyle as the singer.

Cornell, who has been keeping busy with a solo career, replied, "I thought it was cool that they’d actually get together and rehearse some songs. I was kind of surprised by it, to be honest. And I love Tad. We toured with Tad; I’ve always felt he was a really amazing person and a really talented guy."

When asked if he would ever take the stage again with the grunge group, Cornell replied, “You never know.”
