FemaleFirst reported that Martin, who is known for his charitable work, is using his dexterity to help a centre for homeless alcoholics in London.
A source at the centre said, "Chris has been doing their plumbing for them. He does this every year, for free. Apparently he’s quite a dab hand with it all."
A spokesperson for the crisis foundation opened by Martin, partially confirmed the story, saying, "We have 7,000 volunteers helping at Christmas. There are celebrities among them but we can’t name those who wish to remain anonymous."
In addition to his work for the needy, Chris Martin has been working on the next Coldplay disc, Prospekt, which will be released in February.
