According to The Sun tabloid, even though allegations were made against the 34-year-old actor, he was still allowed to attend the London premiere of the film The Dark Knight, in which he was the star.
Jenny and Sharon Bale, the star’s mother and sister, filed a complaint against him on Sunday (July 20). However, the police preferred to let Christian Bale attend the highly publicised event, before starting interrogation today, so that he could tell his version of the story.
"It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don’t yet know is founded in truth," said a source from the tabloid.
According to the source, the incident reportedly happened at a suite in the Dorchester Hotel, where Christian Bale was staying at the time his two family members paid him a visit.
