According to the website Ain’t It Cool News, Christian Bale, star of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, may play John Connor in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.
The director McG will start production at the beginning of 2008, and the movie is projected to be in theatres for the summer 2009.
Warner Bros. Studios refuses to reveal the details of the storyline, but did say that it will be the first film of a trilogy, where there is a war of robots against humans.
The screenplay was written by John Brancato-Michael Ferris, who also did Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines.
