Only a day after being arrested for assault, Christian Bale attended the premier of his film The Dark Knight in Spain on Wednesday (July 23). The star greeted fans while trying to avoid questions from journalists about the recent arrest, reports People.
The 34-year-old actor signed autographs and posed with his wife, Sibi, as well as his co-stars, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart.
Bale, who was questioned by police in London Tuesday afternoon (July 22), seemed calm on the red carpet. He did not speak to journalists or make any comment regarding the arrest.
The star has not been officially charged, but he faces accusations of assault from his mother and sister.
