The famous shoe designer has taken on a new challenge, and has teamed with the champagne company, Piper-Heidsieck, to delve into ancient champagne tasting rituals, reports Vogue.
In doing this, Louboutin was inspired by the popular 1880 folk tradition of drinking champagne out of a woman’s shoe. The result is a gift set, called Le Rituel, to allow people to discover the old tradition.
The set comes in the shape of a shoe box, and holds a bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Brut champagne and a glass stiletto high heel.
Le Rituel by Christian Louboutin will be sold at Colette boutiques starting October 26.
