According to FemaleFirst, tensions are running high between Christina Aguilera and Cher on the set of Burlesque, Aguilera’s acting debut.
The two music stars are joined in the cast by Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci and Cam Gigandet.
An anonymous source says that Christina Aguilera is clearly jealous of Cher and there is no love lost between them. The two barely speak to one another between takes.
"Christina’s jealousy is ripping the production apart. The movie contains many musical numbers and while Christina has been great, Cher’s come in and knocked them all out of the ballpark," the source says.
"Cher’s also become instant pals with her dancers, while Christina barely utters a word to them and has been behaving like a total diva. Everyone on the set loves Cher – but most of them think Christina is a stuck-up upstart."
The film Burlesque arrives in theatres on November 24. It follows a young girl from a small town who moves to Los Angeles and becomes the star in a neo-burlesque club.
