The 26 year-old star shared her ambition during a Grammy Award press conference. Aguilera has been approached to star in films in the past. "I’ve been reading scripts for a number of years now … I really am interested in that in its own art form," she said. "While I’m on tour – ‘Back To Basics’ I will be reading scripts on the road."
"I’m waiting for the right thing to come along," she said. "It’s important it’s the right role."
