The German model presented the new Chanel collection, Cruise, to several celebrities, including Milla Jovovich, Eva Mendes, Diane Kruger and the Olsen twins.
Speaking of Schiffer, Lagerfeld said, "She’s come a long way. She’s got what she wanted – she has a steady life with a husband, children and all the rest."
Schiffer lives in London with her husband, film producer Matthew Vaughn, and their two young children.
Lagerfeld also told Vogue magazine, "Her career is no longer focused on high stakes and ambition, as it is with the others. She does it to please herself and have fun. That gives her a certain frame of mind, an incredible sort of openness, which makes her even more vibrant today than she was fifteen years ago."
