Eastwood confirmed that he will no longer star in films, and insists that he’ll only return if he’s presented with a role that he just can’t refuse.
The actor announced that the film Gran Torino, released last year, would be his last starring role. He now plans to spend the rest of his professional career behind the camera.
While making an appearance on Lopez Tonight on Tuesday (December 8), Eastwood explained to George Lopez that at this stage in his life, he prefers to be out of the spotlight.
He added that he enjoyed directing his son, Scott, in several films, including Gran Torino and Flags of Our Fathers. Scott Eastwood also starred in Pride and An American Crime.
