Coachella festival unveils full line-up

Fans have two days to figure out which performances they want to attend.

Tomorrow, Friday, April 15, 2011, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, better known as Coachella, kicks off for three days of festivities that culminates with a performance by Kanye West on Sunday, April 17.

Yet it was only yesterday (April 13) that festival organizers unveiled the full schedule, so festivalgoers have just two days to decide which performances to attend on any of the six different stages on the festival grounds.

In mid-January, Coachella announced the major headliners. In addition to Kanye West’s closing concert, The Chemical Brothers and Arcade Fire will close out the evening’s performances on the big stage on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Other artists performing include Kings of Leon, Lauryn Hill, Black Keys, Brandon Flowers, Broken Social Scene, Chromeo, Interpol, Mumford & Sons, Robyn, The National, and The Strokes.

Once again this year, the festival will broadcast some performances live on YouTube so that those unable to travel to the desert in Indio, California, can enjoy some of the music.
