Firth, who starred in the film Bridget Jones’ Diary, among others, has joined the cast of The Accidental Husband along with Sam Shepard, Isabella Rossellini, Lindsay Sloane and Justina Machado.
The romantic comedy follows the story of a psychologist (Thurman) who hosts a radio program. When she advises a caller to leave her husband, the man decides to seek revenge on the doctor by making her life miserable.
Filming for The Accidental Husband will begin this week in New York.
